Petsitter

Due to my personal difficulties in finding someone to take care of my two bunnies every time I went on vacation, I came up with the idea of creating an app that connects people with the same problem to those looking to earn some extra money. Or simply animal lovers. Some jobs offer more personal rewards than financial ones, and this is definitely one of them.

However, this app does not exist in reality, as my knowledge unfortunately doesn’t go that far. If someone sees the idea and wants to give it a try, go for it!

Goals

  • Make users that need someone to take care of their pets, able to use this App to search, contact, and hire the petsitter they feel most comfortable with.
  • Give users that love animals the opportunity of taking care of other people’s pets and make some extra money with it.
  • Be able to find candidates by various filters such as “favourites”, “old deals”, or “inbox”
  • Include a rewars system in the search page, where the position is calculated by stars, favourites, and credentials.
  • Incorporate personalized profiles and check other users’ profiles.

  • User feedback is shown in app stores, where it’s more trustworthy.
  • The story of the app? Not relevant—users just need to get started.
  • The new design keeps it simple, offering only two essential options without clutter.
